The issue
Thousands of young people with complex and permanent physical disabilities are being left behind.
They are stuck in institutions and other inappropriate housing that is not suitable for their age or care needs. These young people experience inequality, exclusion and social isolation through limited access to their communities and lack of representation. Â
What we do
Youngcare advocates for a more inclusive Australia, so no one feels left behind. We help young people with complex and permanent physical disabilities to live with independence, choice and dignity. Â
Since 2005, we have designed and built quality Specialist Disability Accommodation, provided much-needed grants and assisted people as they navigate the disability sector. Â
